Can my tan be used with sun beds?
Yes you can. Our tan will not prevent your skin from developing a UV tan. It is important to remember that although you will have a lovely tanned skin from your tan sunless spray. Urban Tan "Does Not" contain sunscreens. You must protect yourself outdoors with a sun protection factor cream. You can use sun bed creams and lotions in the normal way.
How does it work?
Once you have chosen your desired tan colour and fragrance, your tan Trained therapist will apply your tan using a spray system. The active ingredients used are DHA (Dihydrosyacetonel) and Erythrulose. These originate from sugar beets / roots and are approved by the FDA (Foods, Drugs Administration) for safe use on skin. These ingredients have been used safely in cosmetics for over 30 years.
How long does it take?
Approximately 5 minutes for the application but please allow around 15-20 minutes for the overall appointment.
What can I do to prepare for the Tan?
Using Glamour Grit exfoliate the day before, followed by moisturising the skin the day before. On the day it is advisable not to wear any deodorant or perfume.
